Applying Individual False Eyelashes

The 'super'natural pinup eyes made easy

WARNING:Do NOT use the individual lashes made for lower lashes. These should be taken off the market. They look awful and can cause damage to your eye. They are also really irritating to wear.

Applying individual false eyelashes:
To apply individual false eyelashes is actually much easier than most people think, it just requires some patience and practice.
First select the size you want to start with. You can begin either at the outer edge or right in the middle, that's up to you, personally I start at the outer edge.
In which case start with either long or medium. The long is longer than it looks in the pack so my advice is to start with a medium and place it about two lash spaces in from the edge and work towards the middle. Then if you feel you need the extra length at the very end you can add it in or just finish with more medium.

Apply a blob of glue to the back of your hand or onto a palette.

Take hold of the end of the individual false lash with a pair of tweezers, making sure you have a grip on all the hairs. If you don't have one of them the whole lash will be spoiled when you pull it out of the tray. Lift ot of the tray and still holding firmly dip the root into the glue and draw it back through it.
Lift into position and then slide down the base of the natural lash. you do this so as the natural lash is a quarter to half coated in the glue, this gives better adhesion than if it was just at the root, it also looks more natural as it helps with blending.
Once its where you want it keep a hold of it for up to 30 seconds before you let go.
Repeat with more lashes until you have the fullness and length you want.

You can now apply mascara if you wish. A good tip is to curl them with an eyelash curler, this will really help with blending your natural lashes with the false ones.

The only possible downside with individual false eyelashes is that they can irritate your eyelid (this happens mainly if you have used too much glue or stuck them too close to the root) and it can become irresistible to pick at them. Do not do this. If you pick them off they will pull out your natural lashes. Remove them properly every time.

How to remove false eyelashes:
To remove individual false eyelashes use false eyelash remover on a cotton bud (Q tip). Close your eye, hold it closed if you need to. Hold the soaked cotton against the root of the eyelash for afew seconds then gently roll the cotton bud between your fingers away from the eye. Keep rolling it gently until the false eyelashes slide away.

They can be used again if they are in good condition and are properly cleaned in the glue remover and stored in their box.
